About This Site

What is this?

This site shows who gives money to Nevada politicians. It covers every level of government: federal, state, county, and city. The data goes back to 2006.

Where does the data come from?

State and local data comes from the Nevada Secretary of State. Candidates and political groups in Nevada must file campaign finance reports there. These reports cover 2006 through 2025 and include money for governor, state legislature, county commission, city council, school board, and other Nevada offices.

Federal data comes from the Federal Election Commission. Candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and President file with the FEC. This data covers 1980 through 2026 for every Nevada federal candidate.

Corporation Registry data comes from the Nevada Secretary of State's business filings — 1.9 million records. Tax-exempt status comes from the IRS Business Master File and ProPublica's Nonprofit Explorer.

All sources are public records. We download them, clean them up, cross-reference where the names match, and put them on this site so they are easy to find and read.

How often is it updated?

We update the data regularly as new reports are filed. The date of the last update is shown on the dashboard.

What do the numbers mean?

Is this site political?

No. We do not take sides. We do not support or oppose any candidate or party. We just show the data.

Can I use this data?

Yes. Campaign finance records are public data. We do not claim any copyright on government records. You are free to use, share, and build on this data.

Something looks wrong

If you see an error, please let us know. Sometimes names are spelled differently in different reports. We do our best to match them up, but mistakes can happen.
